2011 I was in a sight seeing in a city with my wife when I heard “Skinny Love”. I had to stop and use Shazam to identify that amazing voice. I was hooked. I’ve followed her release ever since and always come back to that one song ……
On a technical note: Wow, that was grotesque. We had 3m2 to divide for 6 photographers. She spend all three songs at the Piano which left us with literally one angle only to photograph from. A spotlight nuked her all the time which propelled the background into a world of darkness. Definitely one of the toughest acts I’ve photographed.
