The first song from the “Manic Street Preachers” I’ve heard was Motorcycle Emptiness, I remember it so well because I was waiting on a bus to go to Paris for a weekend and loved it straight away. If you had told me then and there that I would photograph them one day I wouldn’t have believed you. I loved the performance, you can feel that it’s a strong band with a lot of experience.
On a technical note: The light was ok, but kinda boring. Blue, white and red all through the three songs and most of the gig. The stage was quite busy as well which forced me into using the 28-75mm F2.8 only. But that’s ok, as this stage is low and I was very close it gave me quite a few angles to work with.
