“Under the Bridge” was the very first song that got me hooked from the “Red Hot Chili Peppers”. Since that moment their music was omnipresent in my growing up. I remember going to the movies to watch Point Break only because Anthony Kiedis was in it. You see I have a list of 5 Bands that I swore if I photographed them all 5 I would stop shooting concerts. RHCP is one of them. They were amazing tonight ! All four members were amazing and fun to watch, A. Kiedis impressed my with his presence and vocals. I had a hard time taking pictures tonight …… ( I mean that in a positive way).
On a photographers note: It was easy and not so easy, …. there was something funny going on with the light. A. Kiedis’ face would be perfectly exposed, and then suddenly it would be massively over exposed for I reason that is unknown to me. While watching the rest of the show I noticed that sometimes a yellow spot would be added to light their faces. It was very subtle to the eye but could be the culprit for the overexposed shots. Other than that the stage was filled with speakers and guys filming the concert which made it difficult to find the right spots.
