SOJA (Soldiers Of Jah Army) is a band that I’ve had never heard anything before. I like to take on gigs like that since it often results in me getting to know some good music that I would never have stumbled upon otherwise. I am not too much into Raggae and I don’t think Soja convinced me to do so, but this was a very nice gig and the crowd sure seemed to like it a lot.
On a technical note: I can’t say that it was a hard gig to photograph but it was quite boring in terms of light. It didn’t change much all through the first three songs. The stage at this venue is quite small, which leads to a very crowded stage once you have more than 4 people on there. I tried some shots with the Fish-eye, but the stands all over the stage prevented me to get a usable shot. I used the 24-70 and the 15 for this gig.
