Nightwish live at The Rockhal Dec16

Nightwish live at Th...

It’s the second time I’ve photographed Nightwish. I have to admit that back in 2012 I was not that impressed. Maybe I heard too many good things and I was expecting something else. Nevertheless today I was quite impressed. Floor gives the music passion and energy in a way that...

Slayer live Nov20

Slayer live

I have to admit that Slayer’s not really my cup of tea. But watching Kerry King on his guitar was just an amazing experience ! On a technical note: It was a bit boring. The lead was not moving too much, the drummer was hidden at all times  and the light was...

Anthrax live at The Rockhal Nov20

Anthrax live at The ...

It’s a shame the venue wasn’t sold out. Maybe that’s due to the cancellation last time Anthrax was supposed to perform here, I don’t know. I do know however that those who didn’t show up missed out on a great performance. The show was really entertaining and the...

The Prodigy live at The Rockhal Nov17

The Prodigy live at The Rockhal

I have to admit it felt weird going out to work at a concert tonight after what happened in Paris last Friday. Seeing all those armed police officers patrolling areas that are usually full of people partying and having fun gave the whole scene à surreal feeling. On a technical note: The light was awful ! Inexistant at times and very harsh at others left me no choice but blindly changing he settings on the cam and hoping to get somewhat...

Editors live @ Den A...

Oh my god …….. absolutely amazing !!! I can count the bands that had such a charisma (that I’ve seen) on one hand. Seriously they blew me away, I didn’t know to many of their songs before today but rest assured that I will change that starting now. It just amazes me...

Apocalyptica live at Den Atelier Oct26

Apocalyptica live at Den Atelier

The Finnish band makes quite the impression when they enter the stage with their Cello’s. They performed in front of a Sold Out venue yesterday in Luxembourg and did give their fans hearing them go nuts what they expected. It’s quite impressive when you know it’s a metal band and there is no guitar on stage. But they pull it off, … and how. Their drummer is quite fabulous too. On a technical note: Well there was red, blue and white. A tiny bit of yellow mixed in from time to time but only in the background. Movement was not too fast so adjusting to the changing light was not an issue here. I uses the 15mm Fisheye...
