Oasis without Noel Gallagher is what you get with Beady Eye. I have to be honest and tell you that I really liked Oasis back in the days, but I didn’t know that the band reformed under another name in 2009 right after the initial breakup. I can imagine that it is hard for a band like that to perform in front of a sparsely filled Rockhal. I think there were 600 people at the venue.
On a technical note: It was awful. The lights were all spot LED’s and Mr Gallagher was really static on stage. The same pose all though the three songs and not very energetic. There are those gigs where you feel that no matter how much you try you cannot find different angles to shoot from. This was one of these gigs. I used the 28-75mm and the 70-200mm for this one.
